Ryan Richards discovered his entrepreneurial spirit at an early age. Growing up, he watched his parents build their mortgage business from the ground up. From conversations around the kitchen table to client calls in the car, entrepreneurship, service, and hard work became part of who he was.
At just 15 years old, Ryan began working for a local real estate developer, gaining firsthand experience in the process of transforming raw land into homes and communities. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for real estate, business, and wealth creation.
While attending college, Ryan obtained his mortgage loan originator license and joined Northpoint Mortgage as a loan assistant alongside his father, Doug Richards. Working with a team that has originated more than $2 billion in mortgage volume over the past three decades, Ryan developed a deep understanding of lending, real estate, and client service from one of the most respected mortgage professionals in the industry.
After becoming a full-time loan originator in 2021, Ryan quickly established himself as one of the top-producing mortgage professionals in the country with over $150M originated in the last 4 years
Beyond lending, Ryan actively invests in real estate and has built a portfolio of nearly 20 units. He is the host of The Long Game Podcast, where he interviews entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders about the lessons behind long-term success. He also co-founded Connect Woo, a networking organization dedicated to helping business owners build meaningful relationships, and The Informed Investor, an education community focused on real estate investing and financial literacy.
For Ryan, a home is more than just a transaction; it’s often the foundation upon which families build their future and create generational wealth. Whether through lending, investing, education, or community building, his mission is simple: to help people make informed decisions, create opportunities, and change their trajectory.
